Role: Senior Aquaculture Technician and Diver

Antón Seoane is a Senior Aquaculture Technician and Diver with BSc. in Oceanography from the University of Vigo, a commercial diving certificate and advanced powerboat operation certificates. At the BMRS Antón conducts research on Asparagopsis armata, used reduce methane emissions in livestock and manages the breeding of lumpfish used for sea lice control in salmon farming. He also serves as a volunteer ambassador for LimpOcean, a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing ocean plastic waste.
